An event which showcases the higher education opportunities in South Yorkshire and the surrounding regions is taking place this week in Sheffield.

The Progression Opportunities Fair 2009 ‘Go Higher Stay Local’ takes place on Thursday 23rd April 11am – 5:00pm at the Hallam Hubs, home of Sheffield Hallam University Student Union.

Visitors will have the chance to speak directly with local college and university providers, experience interactive activities and seek advice and guidance on the opportunities available to them.

- University Campus Barnsley

Get Connected will be going along to get your views on the event and opportunities in the city.
