This year`s NVQ Centre Award Ceremony was held in Star House on 21 July and although not everyone achieving awards was able to attend there were still over 40 people present, including Sheffield Futures employees and people from other organisations that the Centre has supported over the past year.

Helen Bennett (L & D Team Leader) presented certificates to those who had completed awards in Advice and Guidance (levels 2, 3 and 4), LDSS and Youth Work (levels 2, 3 and Introduction) as well as additional awards such as ECDL and Customer Service.

The Ceremony not only offered the opportunity to formally present candidates with their certificates but also provided the chance to acknowledge the hard work, dedication and ability involved in the acheivements, as well as recognising the personal support, tuition and assessment provided by the NVQ Centre team.

It was also a chance for candidates to meet up with each other again and chat over tea and cakes!
