The best citywide music festival in the world is back! Tramlines 2011 starts this Friday 22nd July and runs all weekend.

Two great new media opportunities coming up for young people in Sheffield.

Huge congratulations to the Sheffield Young Advisors, who won the top award at the Celebration of Success event last week. They picked up the ‘Special Recognition Award’ at the City Hall for their services to the city.

In partnership with NHS Sheffield, we are running a series of sexual health promotion activities on the ground floor of Star House between 11.00 – 3.00pm on the following dates:

The achievements of both young people in Sheffield and the adults that work with them will be honoured at the prestigious Celebration of Success Event 2011, taking place on 7th July 2011, 7.00pm, at City Hall.

In March the Government announced the new £180 million Bursary Fund to help 16- to 19-year-olds continue in full-time education, where they might otherwise struggle for financial reasons.

v, the national volunteering and entrepreneurial charity, is looking for a diverse mix of young people for their Youth Advisory Board. This opportunity is open to all young people aged 16-24 in England and starts from September 2011.
