We all know thinking about your career choices can be hard, but have you considered an Apprenticeship? You can earn while you learn and so much more… It’s definitely worth thinking about.

The Stonewall charity for Lesbian, Gay and Bisexual (LGB) women and men, is carrying out an important survey called ‘Speak Out’ to capture the views of young LGB people, aged between 11 and 19.

Sheffield Interactive is a free web resource that provides every young person age 11-19 with access to careers information and resources 24-7, at home, in school and in the community by bringing together an existing range of careers education web resources.

Youth and adult careers options are hot topics at the moment, and rightly so. Sheffield FUtures sent two experts, Bob Freeborn and John Moloughney, for a half hour slot on the Paulette Edwards’ show on BBC Radio Sheffield. John and Bob answered many questions about youth and adult careers options and the kinds of things a person could do to maximise his/her chances of obtaining employment.

The UK Youth Parliament will be returning to the House of Commons this Friday, November 4th 2011, for another debating session after last year’s highly successful visit.

Fright Night 2011 was bigger and better than ever! Britain’s biggest free Halloween Carnival, which attracts up to 40,000 people each year, took place on Sunday, and we were there to capture the best bits!
