From the 1st to the 5th of February 2010 thousands of young people across Sheffield will be voting to decide who represents them in the UK Youth Parliament.
Fifteen committed candidates from across the city have been campaigning hard on important issues like the environment, bus fares and challenging the negative stereotypes of young people. If you’re aged between 11-18 and want to have your voice heard make sure you vote in the UKYP elections at your School, Youth centre or at Star House.

The UK Youth Parliament (UKYP) enables young people to use their energy and passion to change the world for the better. Run by young people for young people, UKYP gives the young people of the UK, between the age of 11 and 18 a voice, which is heard and listened to by local and national government, providers of services for young people and other agencies who have an interest in the views and needs of young people.
