After you have your exam results, you may want to talk to someone about the options now available to you.

Advisers and teachers will be available in every Sheffield school on results day, so you can talk to them if you need advice or information.
You can also call in to Star House in Sheffield City Centre and there will be an adviser there to help you with any issues around applications for education or training, finance for study, taking re-sits, getting exams remarked or looking at alternatives to study.

If you don’t get the grades you may need for further study, training or employment, you can usually apply for a re-mark or sit the exam again. Speak to your teacher first – if they support your decision they may apply for a re-mark. Prices for taking exams again can vary according to the subject, number of papers etc…
Information on how to get your AS/A-level paper(s) re-marked can be found on the websites of the exam bodies. Please note that it is usually your teacher who will have to apply to the exam board:
| AQA | EDEXCEL | OCR |
You can find further information on AS/A-levels on the Direct.gov website.
